Review of multivariate statistical methods applied to the results of the Ser Bachiller exam in Ecuador

This research includes reviewing studies on the various exit exams for secondary education in Ecuador, as well admission to higher education, and identifying students' academic, individual, socioeconomic factors. In addition, files academic reports associated with applying multivariate statistical techniques such linear regression, cluster analysis, factor principal component analysis were analyzed. At same time, studying variables exam was considered, considering measurement of general knowledge, sociodemographic variables. The application showed most that are mainly performance. made it possible determine long term numbers define positive or negative scales, forms learning constituted daily a challenge.
